Tuvimos otro día bien chévere en el Lago de Nicaragua en la zona de Las Isletas de Granada, Nicaragua.  Allí en la foto están:   Mark y Allyson Lee, Erik, Heather y Hanah Glass y Nichita.  El sol brillaba y el agua estaba bien calmo, excelente para un día de navegación.

We had another great day out on Lake Nicaragua in the area of Las Isletas in Granada, Nicaragua.  There in the picture you’ll see Mark and Allyson Lee, Erik, Heather and Hanah Glass and Nichita.  Sun was out and smooth sailing was had there on the cool, sweet water.

Our trip to the little islands of Granada, Nicaragua started out quite wet.  However, as the minutes journeyed forward, the rain stopped and we had a decent day.

Nuestro viaje a Las Isletas de Granada, Nicaragua comenzó bien mojado.  Sin embargo, a medida que pasaron los minutos, se pará la lluvia y disfrutamos de un día bastante bueno.

I was out in Las Isletas in Granada and had lunch on this island. We ate fried fish. What I didn’t know was that this custom is not only peculiar to humans. This green parrot also was happy to have a fried fish head!

Estuve en Las Isletas, Granada y almorzamos en una isla. Comimos pescado frito, como es de costumbre. Lo que no sabía es que no es una costumbre peculiar a los seres humanos…esta lora también gozaba con comerse una cabeza de pescado frito!
